Established in December 2019 as a social and charitable healthcare initiative, RMCTH was founded to address the lack of accessible maternal and pediatric healthcare services in underserved areas of Peshawar and nearby tribal districts.

The hospital is built on four kanals of donated land and currently serves approximately 40–50 villages across 4–5 union councils surrounding Mathra and Warsak Road, Peshawar. In addition, patients from the tribal districts of Mohmand and Khyber regularly seek care at RMCTH due to the scarcity of quality healthcare facilities in those regions.

From its inception, RMCTH has focused on delivering essential healthcare services at costs that are affordable for the local community, without compromising on medical standards or patient dignity.

Our mission is to provide safe, affordable, and compassionate maternal and pediatric healthcare to women and children from low-income communities, ensuring that financial limitations never become a barrier to essential medical services.

RMCTH operates as a not-for-profit trust hospital. Income generated from highly subsidized services covers only approximately 30–35% of the hospital’s total monthly operational expenses.

The remaining costs are met through the generosity of donors, supporters, and well-wishers who believe in providing quality healthcare to underserved communities. This model allows the hospital to continue serving patients while keeping treatment affordable.
